From April 27 to May 2, we are bringing Europe to the cinema for our audience. In addition to 148 current feature films, documentaries and short films from 34 different countries, around 120 film guests from all over Europe will also be traveling to Linz to present their work in person. Competition Fiction

Whether private or socio-political, this competition with 11 films is thematically broad. A journey across Europe - not always straightforward, sometimes unorthodox, but always passionate. The Competition Fiction jury gives out the Best Fiction award (€ 5000,- powered by Linz Kultur) to the director of the award-winning film. The audience chooses the Audience Award (€ 5000,-powered by Land Oberösterreich Kultur).

We are happy to announce that a total of 14 jury members will be attending in-person in Linz. There they will decide on the winning films in the competition sections Competition Fiction, Competition Documentary, and Competition Local Artists. The entries in the competition section YAAAS! Competition will be judged by the YAAAS! Youth Jury.
