David Bowie Is Dead

Jenkin's most ambitious project to date, whose production spanned a whole quarter-century, is a rare excursion beyond Cornwall: a road-movie that thrillingly telescopes an epic form into an intimately small canvas.

Director's Biography
Mark Jenkin: Mark Jenkin was born in Cornwall, Great Britain, in 1970. He is an associate of Falmouth University where he lectures film and is the author of the "Silent Landscape Dancing Grain 13 Film Manifesto", promoting the possibilities of handmade film. He has made over 50 short films since 1997. In 2019, he made the short "Hard, Cracked the Wind" and the feature "Bait", which premiered at the Berlinale 2019.
