Gay by Nature
In a dystopian future, two lesbian cat people are locked up in an outdoor enclosure. The idyll of Heimatfilms is transformed here into an antifascist fantasy of freedom and subversive nature.
Director's Biography
Isa Schieche, originally from Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria, lives and works as a filmmaker and sculptress in Vienna. Her films have been screened at festivals like SXSW and BFI Flare London. Helen Weber lives and works as a visual artist in Vienna and Urbach, Baden-Württemberg. Her works have been presented at venues including Dokfest Kassel and Filmwinter Stuttgart.
