Karavan
Caravan
Ester’s just turned 45 and has nothing in her life except caring for her mentally disabled son, David (15). David can’t speak and needs constant attention. Ester loves him deeply, but she’s drained by routine and coping alone. Friends in Italy invite her for a visit, but they find David’s unpredictable behavior causes problems. They ask them to stay in a caravan in the garden. Ester doesn’t want to feel like a burden anymore. She starts the caravan up and takes off. On their journey across Italy and thanks to the people they meet, especially Zuza, their fun loving companion, Ester realizes she can live a different life. At least for a short while.
