The DEADLINE for accreditation for the upcoming festival ended on 22 March 2018.
From now on we only provide accreditations in exceptional cases. For that please adress your requests (including a short motivation) regarding an accreditation for CROSSING EUROPE directly to our guest office (guestssymbolcrossingEuropepunktat).
Please note: In case of approval, a 15€ accreditation-fee will be charged when picking up your festival badge.
Accredited guests can attend all screenings and the events of the framework program – with the exception of the Opening Reception and the Opening Films, which are by invitation only. In addition, accreditation entitles the holder to “priority” for the Nightline in the OK Deck and a festival package with the bilingual festival catalogue.

2018 marks a small anniversary: with 245,000 visitors, 1,500 film guests and 415 world premieres since 2004, the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz presents itself for the 15th festival edition as a cinematic showcase of Europe and relies again on the radiance and diversity of European filmmaking.
Roughly 170 feature films and documentaries are included in the program of the 15th edition of the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz, presenting socio-politically aware and artistic-eccentric filmmaking for discussion in Linz. The focus here is on issues of identity politics as well as an engagement with the realities of life in Europe today, which the five opening films clearly illustrate.

TALKS & EVENTS
Along with the hand-picked film program, Crossing Europe again offers numerous discussion and networking events in the supporting program, as well as exhibitions, installations at the OK and screenings at the Ars Electronica Center that are all well worth seeing.
More information about the supporting program HERE.
From 25 to 30 April, the CROSSING EUROPE Nightline in the OK Deck offers cineastes, festival guests and night owls an opportunity to extend the festival day until late into the night, every evening starting at 10 pm with free admission. In addition, this year’s Nightline will be expanded on Friday, 27 April, by an additional floor in the festival center: UNTEN in the Upper Austrian Culture Quarter.
