In case of unavoidable overfill, we will give priority to festival pass holders and those with festival accreditations. Thank you very much for your understanding if this leads to waiting times at the entrance!

"Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur": Crossing Europe Film Festival Linz is partner of Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur (Hungry for Art and Culture), initiated in 2003 by the Schauspielhaus Vienna and the Austrian Anti-Poverty Network (Armutskonferenz). Holders of the so-called “Kulturpass” may obtain 1 free ticket per person per screening; the quota of tickets per screening is limited. Available free tickets will be given out only on the day of the screening and only for one screening on this day per person. When the quota of free tickets for a screening is exhausted, the “Kulturpass” can be used as a reduction card.

Tickets can be reserved starting on the 11th of April, 2019 at the following locations and times:
starting April 12: around the clock:
// Online via program calendar or on the film pages (see below for further information)

April 12 - 24: daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

// In person at the pre-sales desk at the Moviemento box office

// By telephone (CROSSING EUROPE Hotline: +43 680 506 15 06)

April 25 - 30: daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
// In person at the  Moviemento and City-Kino box office
// By telephone (CROSSING EUROPE Hotline: +43 680 506 15 06)

Due to limited ticket capacity it might be more difficult to obtain tickets for screenings between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.. Please try to attend daytime and late screenings or screenings at Ursulinensaal (the biggest cinema hall at CROSSING EUROPE) if possible.

Please note: in order to avoid long waiting periods at the box office/on the hotline, during the festival (starting April 25) reservations are only possible for the same day and the next day (e.g. on Thursday only for Thursday and Friday).

Reserved tickets must be picked up at least 1 hour before the start of the film (for festival pass holders at least 15 minutes before the film) -if not picked up by that time, the reservation will expire!

For each screening that is fully booked a waiting list will be started.

You can have your name added to the waiting list in person at the box office or by phone via the CROSSING EUROPE hotline (+43 680 506 15 06). 15 minutes before the screening begins, available remaining tickets will be sold to persons on the waiting list in the order their names have been added at the box office of the cinema the respective screening is taking place at.

Make use of our waiting lists - for a number of reasons,  remaining tickets might be available on short notice even for sold-out screenings and go on sale shortly before a show. Thus being on a waiting list can pay off for you.

If you have any further questions concerning the waiting lists please contact our ticketing staff during opening hours.
