MIOB Code of Conduct
30.04.2026 // Among the 2026 activities of the European film festival network MOVING IMAGES – OPEN BORDERS (MIOB) is the joint development of a network-wide Code of Conduct. This initiative was based on a workshop led by Clar Gallistl (cultural policy advisor & creative industries consultant / AT).
The Code of Conduct was presented during the Industry Afternoon on 30 April by Guoda Vaitiekutė (program coordinator of the European Film Festival Scanorama & MIOB Festival Network coordinator / LT) in conversation with Clar Gallistl.
The aim of the Code of Conduct is to maintain and improve a respectful and sustainable festival and work environment, both within the framework of collaboration among network partners and within the individual festival structures. Key principles of the Code of Conduct include promoting an inclusive environment, equality and professional conduct, clear and respectful communication, as well as collaboration and confidentiality. The network festivals commit to adhering to the jointly developed guidelines.
