Festival Program 2023
From 26 April to 1 May, CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz will be taking place for the 20th time, once again positioning Linz as a cinephile meeting place for contemporary European auteur cinema.
139 feature films, documentaries and short films from 45 countries will take the audience on a cineastic voyage from Greenland to the Black Sea, show unconventional, critical and artistically ambitious perspectives of the young generation of European filmmakers and offer an impulse to engage directly with contemporary European society.
Among the films shown are numerous world premieres as well as the first Austrian
presentations of internationally acclaimed films. In addition, around 120 film guests from Austria and abroad will provide exciting insights into their work at film talks and talk events.
