EXTRACTS: Summer Screenings July & August 2020

Despite the cancelation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in March, CROSSING EUROPE is still active. Numerous films selected for the 2020 festival program will be shown on big screens in the coming weeks and months, already from July in selected open-air summer cinemas.

Our event partner Moviemento, for example, will be conducting screenings at two locations in Linz: the Donauparkstadion and Parkbad Linz, including the highly-relevant political music documentary WHITE RIOT about the "Rock Against Racism" movement in 1970s England, this year's Oscar entry from Poland BOŻE CIAŁO / CORPUS CHRISTI and the gripping drama PAPICHA about a group of young fashion students in 1990s Algeria. (Dates & details see below)

In Graz, the Murinsel offers an atmospheric backdrop for open-air screenings, during which the fascinating documentary film THE SOUND IS INNOCENT, which traces the origins, present and future of electronic music, will be screened. (Dates & details see below)
