THE ROAD TO ZENNOR

Winner of the Experimental category at London Short Film Festival, this haiku-like love letter to the enduring analogue power of Kodak's Ektachrome emulsion evokes the delicate and evanescent moods of late autumn Cornwall.

Mark Jenkin: Mark Jenkin was born in Cornwall, Great Britain, in 1970. He is an associate of Falmouth University where he lectures film and is the author of the "Silent Landscape Dancing Grain 13 Film Manifesto", promoting the possibilities of handmade film. He has made over 50 short films since 1997. In 2019, he made the short "Hard, Cracked the Wind" and the feature "Bait", which premiered at the Berlinale 2019.
