Im London der achtziger Jahre verbringen Maria und ihre Mutter ihre Abende auf der Straße auf der Suche nach Abfall. Sie sammeln Alufolie, Kreide und Essensreste, um sie gemeinsam mit anderen Fundstücken im gesamten Haus aufzutürmen. Ihr Leben ist chaotisch, aber magisch. After an unfortunate accident, we fast-forward to Maria’s teenage years living with a foster mother, where she meets the equally fascinating and dysfunctional Michael. Featuring truly captivating performances by Saura Lightfoot Leon and "Stranger Things" star Joseph Quinn, this film will take you places you didn’t think cinema could, and its slimy, cathartic surreality will grip you long after the credits have rolled.
