Angesiedelt während der Pandemie, spielt diese Geschichte im Haus zweier Frauen – einer Mutter und ihrer erwachsenen Tochter. Ein Teil des Hauses ist die Musikschule der Mutter, die diese online führt. Sie ist Klavierlehrerin, eine starke, durchorganiserte Frau, die nur zu ihren Schüler*innen Kontakt, und dadurch zahllose Kinder um sich hat. Der andere Teil beherbergt das Malatelier der Tochter. Die beiden Welten kommen selten miteinander in Kontakt und stehen als Metapher für menschliche Einsamkeit. Zusammengebracht werden die beiden Protagonistinnen schließlich durch die Nachricht vom Tod von Katya, der Tochter ihrer Freundin Inna. (European Film Forum Scanorama)

Set during a pandemic, the story unfolds in the family home of two women – a mother and her adult daughter. In one part of the house is the mother's music school, which she runs online. She is a piano teacher, a strong and organised woman who only has contact with her students and therefore has an endless sea of children around her. The other part of the building houses the daughter's painting studio. The two worlds rarely come into contact with one another, constituting a metaphor for human loneliness. Ultimately, however, the protagonists are brought together by the story of the death of Katya, the daughter of their friend Inna. (European Film Forum Scanorama)
