Das als Auftragsarbeit für die burgenländische Rockband garish entstandene Musikvideo zur Singleauskopplung ihres aktuellen Albums „Absender auf Achse“ (PATE 19) zeigt den Bühnenauftritt eines Provinz-Zauberers aus der Sicht seiner Assistentin. Stets neben oder hinter ihm platziert, entlarvt ihre subjektive Kameraperspektive die Tricks und Kunstgriffe des vermeintlichen Protagonisten. Ihre zeitlich streng definierte Arbeitsroutine, die sich auf und vor allem auch hinter der Bühne abspult, lenkt das Interesse des Zusehers jedoch zunehmend auf das Innenleben der Frau, deren Körper am Show-Höhepunkt vom Schwert des Meisters durchstochen und zertrennt wird. The music video commissioned by the rock band „garish“ from Burgenland for the single release from their current album „Absender auf Achse“ (PATE 19) shows the stage performance of a provincial magician from the perspective of his assistant. Always placed next to or behind him, her subjective camera perspective reveals the tricks and artifices of the supposed protagonist. Her timed, rigidly defined work routine, which is carried out on, but mostly behind stage, increasingly draws the attention of the audience to the inner life of the woman, whose body is pierced and divided at the climax of the show by the master‘s sword.
