SOUND IT OUT porträtiert neben Tom Butchart – dem Ladenbesitzer – nicht nur Mitarbeiter und (Stamm-)Kunden, sondern auch die kulturell und sozial integrative Wirkung, die von diesem fest in der Popkultur verwurzelten Geschäft in einer ansonsten von Arbeits- und Perspektivlosigkeit beherrschten Gegend ausgeht.
