Athen, 2016. Ein rasant-brisantes Triptychon lässt drei gegenläufige Lebensrealitäten am Plateia Amerikis kollidieren: Während Nakos, ein plumper Rassist, die Schnauze von den Flüchtlingen gestrichen voll hat, sucht Tarek, früher Arzt beim syrischen Heer, nach einer Fluchtmöglichkeit für sich und seine Tochter. Unterdes verliebt sich der Tätowierer Billy in Tereza, eine afrikanische Sängerin, die ebenfalls nicht länger in Griechenland bleiben kann. Ihre und Tareks illegale Flucht findet jedoch ein jähes Ende, als der hasserfüllte Nakos auf ihren Schlepper Hassan trifft.

Director's Biography
YANNIS SAKARIDIS, born in 1968, is a Greek filmmaker. He studied photography and history of art at the University of Westminster. He became member of the legendary London Film-Makers’ Co-op and started directing short films.
