Beyond the Broken Hoop
Beyond the Broken Hoop ist ein Tanzfilmprojekt, das Bewegungssprachen aus dem urbanen Raum in ein vom Menschen unberührtes Umfeld bringt. Der Film zeigt die physische Kommunikation zwischen dem Menschen als „unnatürliches“ Wesen mit der Essenz der Natur, die ihm einerseits eigen und andererseits oft so fern ist.
Beyond the Broken Hoop is a dance-film project that takes the languages of movement out of urban space into surroundings untouched by humans. The film shows physical communication between humans as “unnatural” beings with the essence of nature, which is both intrinsic to humans and yet so far away at the same time.
Regie Biografie
ELIAS BUTTINGER ist Tänzer und Choreograph. Er beschäftigt sich experimentell mit Breakdance und zeitgenössischem Tanz. Beyond the Broken Hoop ist Elias Buttingers erste filmische Arbeit als Regisseur.
