Sallmann gibt Text wieder Bild: Nach seinen vier Theodor-Fontane-Filmen lässt er diesmal die poetische Kulturanalyse Deutschlands der aufstrebenden russischen Dichterin Marina Zwetajewa aus dem Jahre 1919 lesen. Die Lesende spricht dabei viel eher als sie liest, Judica Albrecht ist präsentes Medium überblickt Orte, durchschreitet Wege, steht, sitzt, ihre Stimme lotet die stillen Bildausschnitte aus. Vergangenheits-Reise bei Dresden, mit Benning-Reverenz. Schumann, Bach und Alkan untermalen, die Schriftstellerin erwacht zum Leben. The 17-year-old Russian Marina Tsvetaeva spends the summer of 1910 in the sanatorium town of Loschwitz near Dresden. In 1919, in the Russia of wartime communism, she recalls this time and overlays it with a praise of German culture. She is on the verge of becoming one of the most important writers of the 20th century.
Regie Biografie
Bernhard Sallmann (*1967, Linz) completed his studies of German, media studies and sociology in Salzburg and Berlin, as well as film directing at Film University Babelsberg. Since 2004 he has been a freelance filmmaker based in Berlin. Sallmann received numerous awards, among others the DEFA Förderpreis for TRÄUME DER LAUSITZ and the 2017 CROSSING EUROPE Local Artist Award for ODERLAND. FONTANE. Filmografie Regie (Auswahl)
