Niedziela Barabasza

Barabasz ist Tormann, für ihn ist das Fußballspiel am Sonntag der Höhepunkt jeder Woche. Seine Aufgabe, für die er eine Kappe aufsetzt, ist es, zwischen zwei Pfosten zu stehen und das Tor zu verteidigen. Das ist der Sinn seines Lebens. Seine Frau verbringt die Zeit während eines Spiels hinter dem Tor. Aber statt ihren Mann zu unterstützen, macht sie sich über ihn lustig und redet laut davon, wie armselig er ist. Irgendwann fällt Barabasz die Kappe vom Kopf, und das Publikum sieht, dass er eine Glatze hat. Die Menschen fangen an, den armen Tormann auszulachen. Sofort wechselt die Frau die Seite, wird hysterisch und schreit das Publikum an: sie steht zu ihrem Mann. (Stefan Laudyn)

Barabasz is a goalkeeper, for whom the highlight of a week is a football match on Sunday. His job is to stand between the posts wearing a cap and protecting the goal. This is the meaning of his life. His wife also attends the match and spends her time behind the goal, but instead of supporting her man, she ridicules him, talking in a loud voice about how miserable he is. At some point Barabasz's cap falls off and the public can see that his head is bald. People start to laugh at the poor goalkeeper. The wife instantly changes sides, becomes hysterical and shouts at the public, finally standing by her man. (Stefan Laudyn)
