Beruf: Berührerin
The service of unintentional touching describes the work of sexual surrogates. This work is primarily intended for people with handicaps, but also for people with experience of abuse, or those who need support in their sexuality. Despite its social importance, this profession is tabooed. Perhaps this is because it raises topics, like mental or physical handicaps and paid sensual or sexual services. With our camera, we accompany three “touchers”, sexual surrogates, in the German-speaking region for one day each.
Director's Biography
CLAUDIA DWORSCHAK, geb. 1963 in Linz. Studium an der Kunstuniversität Linz. Arbeiten u.a. innerhalb des Künstlerinnenkollektivs „freundinnen der kunst“.
