Felicia înainte de toate

First Of All, Felicia

Felicia (Ozana Oancea) left her home some 20 years ago, moved to the Netherlands, had a child, divorced, and made a career but comes home every year to Bucharest to visit her parents. Every visit is a wrenching experience which reaches its climax on the day of her departure. Her father (Vasile Mentzel) is retired, her mother (Ileana Cernat) a passive-aggressive woman who claims that all she does is sacrifice herself. In their feature debut, Răzvan Rădulescu and Melissa de Raaf display a gift for developing dramatic scenes and a talent for capturing some of the most sensitive issues troubling Romanians at this point in time.
