An atlas of the film heavens of Austria, so to speak: the oldest preserved film material goes through the mental camera and the hands of Dietmar Brehm. Ethnographic and piquant film images mostly from between 1906 and 1909 and a satellite from 1915 are run through the alchemistic processes of an untamed film avant-garde. (Elisabeth Büttner)
