Stupid Boy
The stupid boy is called Loïc. Loïc, who is searching for what life forgot to leave to him before he became an adult. Loïc, who goes to bed with anyone, regardless of how and where. Loïc, who loves Marie far too much – or too little. Loïc, who makes the soccer player Rui his idol. One day even Loïc will try to devise a story for himself. (Maya McKechneay)
Director's Biography
Lionel Baier, geboren 1975, dreht seit den Neunziger Jahren Filme und leitet seit 2002 die Filmabteilung der Kunsthochschule ECAL in Lausanne. Gemeinsam mit den befreundeten Regiekollegen Ursula Meier, die in seinen Filmen immer wieder kleinere Rollen spielt, und Jean-Stéphane Bron (Mais im Budeshuus) gilt er als Proponent einer jungen welschschweizer Filmszene.
