Nicaragua: Die vergessene Revolution

Nicaragua: The Forgotten Revolution shows contemporary Nicaragua. It tells the stories of a farmer, a woman from the markets and a teacher. These portraits stand in contrast to scenes from the 30 year celebrations of the revolution. What is left of it? What happened to the dreams and hopes of the revolutionists? This and more is treated by the film, in addition the intellectuals Gioconda Belli and Ernesto Cardenal have a say.

Director's Biography
Jenseide, bestehend aus Jakob Kubizek, Peter Sihorsch und Clemens Haslinger, widmet sich der Produktion von Musikvideos, Dokumentar- und Spielfilmen sowie Werbespots für TV, Kino und Radio. Wichtig sind ihnen Zwischentöne, Mischformen und Übergänge zwischen Kunst und Kommerz, herausgearbeitet durch eine besondere ästhetische Herangehensweise.
