Rotonda - Xanadu

Palladio's Villa Rotonda and the castle Xanadu from Orson Welles's Citizen Kane are both classic examples of architectural or film construction. The basis for ROTONDA - XANADU is a reconstruction of the mysterious opening sequence from Citizen Kane. The deconstruction of this sequence starts with the random replacing of the original film images and is continued with massive interventions in the single frames.
