Darkhead
Schwarzkopf (Darkhead) is the story of Austro-Iranian Rapper Nazar and his friends Vahid and Musti – three childhood friends with a so-called „migration background“. All three – suffering from poor education and the lack of prospect – seek sanctuary in the world of rap music. And this misfit second generation is soon to be followed by third generation kids, looking up to their older counterparts and invisibly bonded by cause-and-effect of a modern day migration society.
Director's Biography
ARMAN T. RIAHI , geb. 1981 im Iran, in Wien aufgewachsen. Studierte Medientechnik und arbeitete als Grafik- und Screendesigner in London und Wien. Seit 2005 freier Regisseur und Autor. Schwarzkopf, sein erster Kinodokumentarfilm, wurde bei der Diagonale 2011 uraufgeführt.
