A Castle in Italy

Louise, played by director and co-writer Valeria Bruni Tedeschi herself, is an 43-year-old actress tiring of her profession and longing for motherhood. Her beloved brother Ludovic has AIDS and the old family castle in Italy has to be sold because of the finances after their father's death.Right then, Louise meets the younger actor Nathan on a film set. He is totally into Louise but not particularly interested in fathering a child. After initially rejecting a relationship to the young man, Louise soon decides to take her possibly last chance at becoming happy and gives their love a try.

Director's Biography
Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, born 1964 in Turin, Italy, is an actress, a screenwriter and director. After graduating from the Amandiers theater school in Nanterre she starred in several international films. In 2003 she wrote and directed her first feature IT'S EASIER FOR A CAMEL, for which she was awarded the Louis Delluc Award for best first film and Best Actress at the Tribeca Film Festival the same year. // Films (as director): IL EST PLUS FACILE POUR UN CHAMEAU...
