Vol Spécial

Special Flight

Awaiting definite deportation from Swiss territory, rejected asylum seekers and illegal immigrants are jailed at the administrative detention center Frambois. Behind closed prison doors, tension builds day by day. On one side there are wardens with a quite humane value concept, on the other there are men beset with fear and stress. In this extreme situation, despair has a name: special flight. The film premiered at the Locarno International Film Festival 2011.
