Hirtia va fi albastra

It is the night of December 22, 1989. Communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu has fled from his presidential palace, and an armoured squad of militia men controls the streets of Bucharest. No one is quite sure who is running the country and confusion is everywhere. While assigned to keep the peace in a fairly quiet Bucharest suburb, the squad unit learns that the army has taken control of the national TV station, and reports come in that pro-Ceauescu ”terrorists“ are besieging the station, trying to regain control. A young militia man argues with his fellow soldiers and runs off toward the station to help bring down the regime. (Rik Vermeulen)
